    SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE

     

    The Disposal Operator will be responsible for interpreting, reading, and adjusting gauges and meters and assuring trucking tickets and paperwork is completed with accuracy.

    Responsibilities

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Check incoming water from trucks for acceptable levels of solids and fluid type
    • Complete JHA for every shift and include everyone on-site
    • Ensure daily operations are compliant with EPA and OSHA regulations
    • Record data from truck tickets on daily log and maintain accuracy
    • Conduct hourly walk around to check meters and gauges on equipment
    • Make sure daily operations is in compliance with EPA and OSHA regulations
    • Verify that all equipment is running properly and notify management if there are issues
    • Maintain daily housekeeping at the worksite
    • Provides customer service
    • Follows proscribed procedures with alterations, informing supervisor promptly; assuring that you stay on location at all times to maintain oversight of the facility.
    • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
    • Comply with general policies and procedures of Bosque Disposal Systems, LLC and keep safety and environment as the most important aspects of daily operation

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities

    • High school diploma or GED required or six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Able to read, write and use simple math

    PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

    • Oil and Gas experience
    • PEC Certification
    • H2S Certification
    • Medic First Aid Certification
    • Hazwoper Certification

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

    • Regional visits that may require lifting some boxes/parts, walking yard
    • Office environment with desk at corporate office
    • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on yards & jobsite locations:
      • Safety Glasses, Hard hats, FR Clothing and other as required by customer.
    • Light to moderate physical effort required
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Regularly required to walk, reach and move about the facility
    • Able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time
    • Able to work around hazardous chemicals and in Oil & Gas Operational conditions
    • Ability to be present at field office during denoted work hours, which may be altered occasionally to accommodate delivery of programs
    • Ability to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, instructions and guidelines
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
