  • Overview


    The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for the success of the region. Working with the Finance, Sales, Operations, Technical Services, Safety, Training and Human Resources teams to build a strong regional culture that is aligned with corporate goals. This leader will build and maintain a safety culture, drive revenue, insure profit, demand a high level of customer satisfaction, and build employee confidence and trust.



    • Manage and Motivate Sales workforce
    • Determine market strategies & goals for regional sales for all Water Solutions technologies.
    • Drive local sales activities by working closely with the Regional Sales Managers, the Director of Sales, the Director of Marketing and the Director of Technical Services
    • Maintain up to date understanding of industry trends and technical development that effect target markets
    • Establish and maintain industry contacts
    • Identify and close new sales opportunities
    • Establish relationships with current and prospective customers
    • Manage and grow existing accounts
    • Track sales activity in CRM
    • Research and maintain list of potential customers
    • Determine customer needs based on market research
    • Follow-up on sales leads
    • Manage pricing on the front end of every job. Work with your sales and service delivery teams during the solutions and pricing stage in order to price the job right and set appropriate service delivery expectations
    • Manage expenses on a continuous basis and work toward continuous improvement of service delivery efficiency.
    • Work toward continuous improvement in the areas of field readiness and service delivery
    • Manage Unit and Fleet size and condition on a daily basis to insure that we have the equipment required for current and upcoming work and the condition is such that we do not have safety or operational issues after deployment of equipment to the field
    • Set a baseline for Customer Satisfaction for each customer and work toward continuous improvement
    • Work with Operations Manager to improve efficiency of all service delivery
    • Work with Operations Manager to insure that Field Inspections are being completed and all unsatisfactory items are handled timely and thoroughly
    • Work with Safety to insure that all Safety Regulations are followed and Stop Work Authority is understood by all employees.
    • Keep an open door and escalate all issues appropriately
    • Facilitate open and productive communication with regional employees and executive management
    • Insure that all managers and supervisors have had adequate training and maintain respectful and open communication with all employees
    • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
    • Comply with general policies and procedures of Bosque Systems, LLC


    REQUIRED COMPETENCIES – Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities

    • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing
    • 2-5 years Sales Management experience
    • Experience in Oil & Gas industry or other applicable industries
    • Proven record of success in sales
    • Ability to sell and provide solutions
    • Excellent negotiating, communication, and computer skills
    • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
    • Understanding commercial and contract language
    • Ability to coach others
    • Intermediate computer experience in MS Excel and Outlook
    • Excellent communications skills and ability to maintain highest professionalism
    • Ability to travel to and navigate frac locations (25% - 50% travel)


    • Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Water Treatment or Chemical Industry
    • Prior experience in Completions or Fracking


    • Field/site environment with visits to field locations
    • Office environment with desk
    • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on yards & jobsite locations:
      • Safety Glasses, Hard hats, FR Clothing and other as required by customer.
    • Light to moderate physical effort required
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Regularly required to walk, reach and move about the facility
    • Able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time
    • Able to work around hazardous chemicals and in Oil & Gas Operational conditions
    • Ability to be present at field office during denoted work hours, which may be altered occasionally to accommodate delivery of programs
    • Ability to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, instructions and guidelines
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
